Banned Books and Beers: Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov

Help us celebrate Freedom to Read Week, February 22-28, 2026. Join us for a discussion of Lolita, a 1955 novel written by Russian-American novelist Vladimir Nabokov that addresses the controversial subject of hebephilia. The book has received critical acclaim regardless of the controversy it caused with the public.

Light snacks will be served. Buy your own beer (or other beverage). Non-alcoholic beverages available for sale to participants under the age of 19.
