SUMMARY:Fit and Fabulous: Pickleball Information Session
DESCRIPTION:New to Pickleball? Join us to learn: \n\nphysical\, mental\, and social benefits of the sport;\nequipment;\nhow to play;\nhow to score;\ntips and tricks;\ninjury prevention.\n\nTammy Elliott\, pickleball guru\, will lead us. \nIn retirement\, Tammy spends her summers volunteering as a Pickleball Ambassador at Wildwood by the Severn Park in Port Severn. She and her husband Todd turned an unused tennis court into a thriving pickleball community. \nAfter receiving safety training in Naples Florida\, Tammy designed a program and personally trained over 100 park members to play pickleball in a way that avoids injury. \nAs an experienced facilitator with a background in adult education\, Tammy enjoys delivering workshops that are fun\, engaging and inclusive. \nTammy truly believes in the physical\, mental and social benefits of pickleball. She’s played in multiple facilities\, Towns\, Cities and States and knows that all injuries can be prevented if the safety tips she teaches are considered before stepping on the court. \nIdeal for ages 18+.
